Greek Meatloaf


Prep Time:  10 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 hour & 15 minutes
Servings: 8 persons

Ingredients

 1 pound each ground beef & ground lamb
2 eggs, large
 1 cup onion, green, chopped finely
 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled finely
1 cup breadcrumb, fresh
  2 cloves garlic, minced
 ¼ cup parsley, fresh, chopped
 1 tablespoon mint, dried
 ½ cup olive, chopped (black or green)
 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
 1 tablespoon tomato puree (paste)
 ½ teaspoon salt

  Directions

1-Preheat your oven to 350 F/175 C in advance.

2- Mix everything together in large bowl until combined well; ensure you don’t over mix the ingredients.

3- Shape the meat mixture into 9x5” loaf in a metal baking pan, preferably 13x9”.

4-Bake in the preheated oven for an hour; draining the fat half way during the cooking process, if required.

5-Let stand for 8 to 10 minutes at room temperature, before slicing into pieces.
